I love my engagement ring!

The first ring I got from James was a promise ring but we just decided to be engaged. Well on Sunday, we went to the mall and picked our rings for the wedding. I got a bridal set with an engagement ring and wedding band. I love it! I can't even begin to describe it. My mom gave me her ring that she bought in Jamaica and I traded it in to put toward my own ring. They gave me $1500 for it but in order to be able to use that, we had to match what they did. And we could also finance and have no interest for 3 years but we would have to spend $4000. With the trade in and all the sales we paid about $3600. We got just under 50% off. We got a good deal. His is really nice too. It has diamonds on it and is silver. He wanted to get a black inlay around both edges and he got it engraved. It will say J+W 6-15-08. Not my idea. But it's really nice. I picked it out and he ended up liking it. I got a princess cut diamond with mine. It's funny because I tried a bunch on before the one I ended up choosing and then I tried a few more on after the one I ended up choosing and the ones after just didn't compare. I knew that was the ring for me. It is so beautiful. I can't wait to get it. They had the size I needed so they didn't have to order it but they needed a few days to mount the diamond. They didn't have his size so they'll have to order it and then get the black and the engraving done. His won't be here for I think 6 to 8 weeks. That's ok....he can't wear it until the wedding anyway. I'm going to pick mine up tomorrow after work. I can't wait. I think I might need to try it on with my dress....he he....I have to see if the necklace James bought me will look ok with the dress. It's just a circle pendant with diamonds. It's really pretty and I think it will be ok. Its just simple and that's what my dress needs because of the designs on it. I'm so excited for everything!
